The Heroes & Heritage Student Leadership Summit and Career Fair is an outreach program designed to introduce veterans, wounded warriors, minority high school, university students, and students with disabilities from under-served communities to career opportunities in the corporate world, the Department of Defense workforce, our federal agencies, and uniformed services.

This leadership summit is a forum for future leaders to transition into successful careers. The annual summit is also about promoting and strengthening diversity and equal opportunity. This program is about addressing the under-representation of veterans, Hispanics and other minorities in our Federal agencies and corporations. It is truly a hands-on "outreach" mission.

Forging positive relationships with veterans, wounded warriors and minority students in under-served communities is the most effective strategy for educational success and potential careers in our federal agencies and corporate America.

The annual leadership summit is about changing a returning soldier or student's trajectory to a positive future. "If we can provide hope instead of despair and a 'navigation process', we are going to create better citizens".
